A MESSAGE
REGARDING COVID-19

On March 16, 2020, as the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) was being realized across the globe, 3BL Media began waiving fees for the use of CSRwire as business leaders stepped forward to help.

In the month that followed, more than 500 press releases were distributed to CSRwire’s global audience. These included charitable donations, innovative solutions to the lack of personal protective equipment and medical treatments for COVID-19, and pledges to address the social impact of the pandemic. The top viewed news belonged to Johnson & Johnson announcing a lead vaccine candidate for COVID-19.

We are pleased to have been able to assist communications professionals to drive awareness of their work during a critical time.

Our free press release distribution program will end on April 17, 2020.  After that date, CSRwire editors will continue to monitor the inbound queue of COVID-19 press releases emailed to COVID19@3blmedia.com for content that is both global in focus and innovative in nature.  Select releases will continue to be distributed at no charge.

On behalf of the 3BL Media team, we wish you all the best as you, your families and your companies respond to the crisis. Stay safe.

3BL FORUM:

BRANDS TAKING STANDS

LIVE!

September 8, 2021 | 1  p.m. ET

In its first major report in nearly a decade, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) observed the climate crisis is already causing “widespread and rapid changes" and declared human activity — specifically carbon emissions from the burning of fossil fuels — is “unequivocally” to blame. We’re already locked into at least 1.5 degrees Celsius of warming, the IPCC warns, but we still have a chance to cap global temperature rise at 1.5 or 2 degrees — avoiding the worst impacts of the climate crisis — if we employ immediate, decisive interventions to reduce emissions.

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres called the IPCC's findings a “code red for humanity,” and with the annual U.N. climate conference having been postponed a year due to COVID-19, in the fall all eyes will be on COP26.

Running ahead of the U.N. General Assembly, Climate Week NYC and Global Goals Week, the third edition of 3BL Forum: Brands Taking Stands – LIVE! will explore the business role on the road to these pivotal negotiations. We’ll discuss how companies can cut their own emissions, engage with governments, suppliers and peers on climate-smart policies, and ensure climate justice for at-risk communities worldwide.

Join us on September 8 at 1 p.m. ET for The Road to COP26: What Is the Role of Business in a 1.5 °C Future?
